I've gone back and forth about this name for so long. I'm a musical person, which makes me like it more, but is it too out there?

What do you think of the name Lyric? Also, do you like it more as a girl or boy's name?

I actually never heard of Lyric as a male name. I think it can work.

As far as musical names itself however: Selah, Harmony, Melody, and Shiri are so much better.

I think it’s a boys name, it’s just the ‘ric’ ending that makes it masculine.

I saw a Lyrik (f) in my Elementary school year book. She was in Kindergarten while I was in second grade, so...she would be a Sophomore now.

Not a huge fan. As music names go, I like Aria and Melody.

I think it's a nice name. It's not too out there, imo.

I like it more as a girl's name.
