[Opinions] Herbie and Hobie
I’m not expecting any love for these two names, but I find them quite sweet. Maybe it’s the English tendency to like nicknames, although I’m not sure what Hobie would be a nickname for. Anyway, tell me what you think! Thanks :)

I'm going to surprise you and say that I do like Hobie. I think it's both cute and strong. Herbie, on the other hand, will always be a car

My neighbour has a grandson named Herbie. I think it’s cute on a little kid, but doesn’t age so well. Same with Hobie.I also know a girl named Hogie which I think is awful.

I hate these names. I hate these names so, so much. The only good thing I can think of is Herbie, that Volkswagen.I prefer Herbert nn Herbie.I'm not trying to come across as rude, I promise. I'm sorry.

Haha, don’t worry, I was definitely expecting them to be hated!

Yes, the Volkswagon! But I think that’s why I find Herbie kind of cute!

Don't like either

I think Herbie’s kind of cute, but definitely not Hobie. Hobie sounds like a large, awkward dummy.

I understand what you mean, Hobie is kind of bumbling and dorky, but I like that :)
