What do you think of January for a girl? It's the name of the main character in a book I'm reading, and I'm really starting to like it.

I've always loved it. I love it even more for a boy, but I love it either way. It's my favorite month name.

I've always liked it. It's either my favorite month name or tied for favorite with the more tame June. It sounds pleasant to me and has interesting associations (Janus, Spirit Moon).
I don't know if you've heard of actress January Jones, but that's an example of it used irl.

I like it. To me it has a similar vibe to Tuesday. Fun name.

I like names that are months...they're especially cool when they're for fictional characters, but I wouldn't give it to a real person. Especially if they weren't born in January! Then it seems silly.

It's fine, for a girl. Nn Jan is cute.
However I adore Janviere. No idea how it would sound to a French speaker -- maybe trendy? Just saw it somewhere and fell hard. :0)
