Definitely not boring. It wouldn't have gotten as popular as it got if it was boring imo. Overused for sure but it does have flare. Hmm hard to say with NN I prefer... I think Izzy or maybe even Isa, Bella I like on a asthetic level but it always reminds me of a small dog. I do think Isabel/Isobel/Isabelle more appealing than Isabella just by default of the popularity, but also because Isobel I think has more "weight" to it and slightly less "whipped cream" as someone has said on the forums before to describe the sugary popular names. I was really into Elisabelle and Elisabella for a while because I refused to bend to liking the hyper popular Isabella but now I think it's still nice.
