[Opinions] Mélisande?
WDYT?I think it's got a whimsical feel about it."When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do..." - Albert Einstein

Very French. I dig it. Elegant. In a refreshing way almost.

It's kind of cute and mysterious. But I'd be worried she'd end up as just another Mel. Good middle name.

I really like it. I’m not sure it’s usable today but I’d use it as a character name. It has a medieval feel to it so I’d use it as a name for a French girl in the 1500s. Maybe the daughter of a highly ranked knight in the kings service.

Too flowery, but would work well on a character. I'm thinking... 19th century 60 year-old French Canadian singer/witch??

In a French context, it's delightful. In an English context, it would be confused with Millicent on a daily basis and isn't worth the effort.

I think it's pretty and works well for a fictional character. Seems a bit much for a real kid, though, at least in my cultural context.
