The Gabby Petito case is getting tons of attention now, making me think of the name. Wdyt of Gabby and Gabrielle or Gabriella?

I dislike Gabrielle and Gabriella, and Gabby just sounds vacuously talkative. For the record, I also dislike Danielle and Daniela and Daniella. But I do like Daniel for a boy, though I find Gabriel meh.

"Gabby" doesn't look or sound great to me. It's a lot like Abby, or Becky - sort of childish and dated. I don't love Gabrielle/-a pronounced with an "ab" sound either - it's fine, but I'd rather Gayb- or Gahb-.
Gabi - rhyme wasabi - is cute as a nickname for Gabriella / Gabriela / Gabrielle.
I like Gabriel m more than any of the fem forms but Gabriela is my favorite of them.

Gabby and more specifically the gab sound is the one thing that makes me dislike Gabrielle and Gabriella. It's just so ugly, and gabbing is loudly, poitlessly talking, and gabby is the adjective for someone that does this.
