Thoughts on Ruby? Just Ruby.
I still love Ruby Rose but I guess it is sort of hard to say and I now know that there is an actress by that name and I don't like it when names are very much associated with celebs.
Is Ruby common where you live?
Can you recommend some new favorites to me that fit my style?

I have a soft spot for it, it's cute and timeless.
Rubí (ru-BEE), the Spanish form, is somewhat common in Latin America but not Spain. It's an okay name.
I have to say I really like the variety of your PNLs - they are lovely on their own. :)

My nieces are Ruby and Annabelle. Ruby Frances and Annabelle Rose. You could have named them.
Aside from my niece, two of my FB friends have toddlers named Ruby, and there's a funny kid at my church named Ruby. It's a nice name that suddenly seems to be everywhere. It's a "tasteful choice" in, like, educated populations.

I really like Ruby and have been thinking of it lately as a short name idea. It's somewhat popular in my region but not unbearably so. In my community growing up there were 2 sisters named Audrey & Ruby. Ruby is probably one of the "older" new wave of Ruby's at the moment being in her early 20s. I also know a few elementary aged Ruby's as well. I suggest you look at some new lists with fresh eyes.
As for names to go with it I would consider these names to have a similar vibe: Lyra, Opal, Ivy, Evie, Nora, Ellie, Ella, Willow, Millie, Annie, Lottie, Nellie, Josie, Phoebe, Iris, Sapphire, Garnet, Emerald, Hazel,Mabel, Tilly, Willa, Miri, Ginny, Dottie, Hattie, Tessie, Delphi, Luanne, Delia, Ines, Jackie, Nella, Isla, Liza, Faye, Rosie, Mina, Kittie, Polly, Astrid, Yvette, Marnie, Twyla,
