What do you think of Hester?
It’s always been on my radar, but never on my PNL, and suddenly I love it.
Do you think it’ll be a trending name anytime in the near future?

Do you like the nickname Hettie?

It's grown on me a bit because of His Dark Materials- I don't love it but I don't hate it either. It has a bit of a quirky old-fashioned charm, and Hettie is cute. I don't see it becoming trendy anytime soon.

I like this name a lot. I don't know why people think Esther is nice but the H makes it ugly. I disagree. It reminds me of the character from Mortal Engines.

Much prefer Esther, Hester is way too “Scarlet Letter.” Hettie is awful.

I adore Hester! It's staid but not sour or dull.
Hester Jane is lovely -- Jane adds some spangle to Hester.
