No, Dorthy looks really misspelled and kind of silly (no offense).Dorothy is fine. There used to be a time when everyone thought it would be the next big trend but now I don't think it will be. It's just not really that pretty.

Dorthy looks more stylized but not particularly modern.I have a great grandmother and an aunt named Dorothy. I usually prefer Dorothea, but Dorothy seems less formal, which can be nice.

I like Dorothy. A former coworker named her daughter Dorothy and calls her Dottie for a nickname. Dorthy seems like an intentional or unintentional typo. I don’t like it.

Dorthy seems like a blunder, not a more modern variant.I love Dorothy, a classic.

I like Dorothy. I don't like Dorthy. It's not particularly modern in any way.

Dorthy looks uneducated; the sound doesn't work at all in my dialect of English, but I'd say it might be more appropriate for a character in a 19th century novel than for a modern person.I like Dorothy, though probably only as a mn.
