Marjorie feels a little too dated and "buttery" but the Margery spelling feels a little more fresh and youthful imo. I like Marjorie Winifred, Marjorie Lillian, & Marjorie Alice.

Looooove Marjorie, dislike Jorie, as well as any other nickname for Marjorie. Mara could perhaps work but would kind of defeat the purpose of the name.ETA: I think Marjorie needs a middle name with a little more flavor. I’d steer away from names that are equally, if not more "old-fashioned."

Marjorie is one of my favorites.
My favorite combo is Marjorie Vivian, but Vivian Marjorie is pretty, too.

I want to love it, but the J in the middle looks a little off putting to me. I think Margery looks better.

I like Marjorie with that spelling. Margery is too close to margarine. My friend's mother was named Marjory, which I don't like the look of - the sound is fine. She said it was the original English spelling, and I didn't argue!
