[Opinions] Darby
Thoughts?Do you prefer this name on a girl or on a boy? What middle name would you use?

Darby is unisex to me. However, the only Darby I've ever known was a woman. It's not for me. It reminds me of the fast-food chain Arby's, which is an unpleasant association.Potential combos:Darby Adelaide
Darby Ashlynn
Darby Eleanor
Darby Emmeline
Darby Faye
Darby Frances
Darby Madeline

I don't really like it, more masculine I think. Darcy is a little better

I had a classmate growing up named Darby (female) from 5 to 18 everyone would joke what an ugly name she had, they were unanimously not fans of it. I didn't mind it too much and thought it was "fine" but I know for a fact everyone's dislike of her name ruined it a little for her. Her FN MN was Darby Lee so very unisex. She was named for Julia Roberts character in The Pelican Brief. *side note, I think it was partially just because we had rotten classmates though if that makes a difference.
