[Opinions] Noa
Rachel Riley (maths whizz on a British tv programme Countdown) and her professional dancer husband Pasha Kovalev (former dancer on Strictly Come Dancing in Britain) have now revealed the name of their second daughter who was born on Friday. They named their second daughter Noa.
Maven (23 months) is the name of their first daughter. WDYT)

Its pretty. Its spelled exactly like the Japanese name, which would be unthinkable for boys in Japan, probably (their names end in -ya, -ta, or even -ha, but not -a by itself). Maven sounds very made-up, and kind of masculine, or at least unisex like Haven or Raven. But Noa and Maven go together as siblings. They both have some pretty interesting choices.
There was a post about it about a week ago.

I like it.
Maven seems like the feminine equivalent of Maverick. I'd rather see Mavis or Maeve.

Weird! I thought a maven was an expert on something: never seen it as a name before.
Noa is asking for trouble when used in the context of a language where the -h at the end of Noah isn't sounded. She'll spend her life explaining that she's got nothing to do with the drunken slob from the Ark. Plus, the way it starts with the same sound as "No!" also puts me off.

I was just checking to see if she'd had her baby today. I did know a Noha (pn. No-ha) so Noa isn't too weird on a girl for me. I think it goes well with Maven. Different, but familiar and similar to other on trend names. It's a super refreshing style for celebs.
Don't like it for a girl
