Echo is a bartender and is taking college classes in her spare time, hoping to get a degree in computer science. Scout is a telemarketer but her biggest pride is her garden, which she spends all her spare time working at. The two women met three years ago, at Echo's work, when Scout got drunk with some friends in the bar and proposed to Echo, a complete stranger, with a plastic ring. It was extremely humorous, as she included a confession of her undying love while Echo just laughed and laughed. The next day, a mortified Scout returned to apologise to the pretty bartender, and the two struck up a friendship. They are now newly married and just returned from their honeymoon in Paris, where they'd both been wanting to travel for years.
