[Opinions] Dawn
What do you think of the name Dawn? I think it's simple and lovely but a lot of people seem to think it's dated.

I kinda like it. I would use it as a middle name. Probably not as a first name, though.

I think... well, I'm sorry, I know this isn't nice, but I think it's horrible. It's nasal and tacky. I've tried to rid my vocabulary of that word, but nothing else will work for Dawn.

It does feel quite dated to the 70s for me. I'm not wild on the sound either.

It's definitely not in fashion now and hasn't been for a few decades. But I think it just jumped the gun style-wise and would fit in well with the Auroras and Eves and Lunas. I'd use it.

It's simple, yet sweet. I'd like to see it in the charts again. Hippie-ish too, but not in a bad way.

It's sweet. I think I mainly don't like it because I never liked the vibe of Don or Donna, and it sounds just like Don when I say it. I've never met a Dawn.I don't mind stuff like Donatella or Aferdita or Morning Glory, though, so...in theory I like it.

I have always liked Dawn. I don’t know why it’s hated so much. I have never seen a Dawn I have never liked. Fictional or real. The symbolism of Dawn is beautiful and though it’s dated, it’s a beautiful name with a beautiful etymology. Bring back Dawn I say. I like all Dawn names, really. Besides Eos.

I think Dawn is pretty. It seems like it's very 1960s-70s, so I get hippie vibes. It's a cool nature name. The only downside, people may misspell it to Don. I like it as a middle name.
