Its okay, not as plain as Nora. But I keep wanting to say Eleanora. Bad habit. I like the nicknames Ell, Ellie, Nell, Nellie, and Nora. They work nicely.
Its in the same boat as Eudora, Eldora, Eleanora, and Theodora: old-fashioned and possibly underappreciated feminine names that could make a comeback. That would be refreshing.
