I've seen Clary before, and I tend to think of it as a cute botanical new agey NN - I associate it very closely with Sage and Clarity. I think it's also a surname? It'd be pretty as a MN, too.
I've never seen it spelled Clarie, but I like that a lot as either a nickname or standalone name: I've been wondering if there was a way to spruce up Carrie lately, and I've also been liking Claribel lately, so it strikes me as sort of being in the middle of those.
