Arlo now has several bestsellers up his sleeve, as the kids are growing up and becoming independent he and Heather spend a lot of time traveling, Heather gave up her 8-5 job few years ago and opened a private praxis. Being the wild spirit she has always been Mara has moved to Hawaii as soon as she graduated high school to pursue her dreams. She is now one of the best surfers in the US, her girlfriend is her complete opposite a first grade teacher who was raising her son alone before they met, but somehow they complement each other and Mara does not hesitate to say that the two years they have been dating were the best two years of her life. Unlike her older sister at eighteen Veronica is not sure what she wants to do with her life, freshly out of high school she decided to take a gap year and together with her boyfriend of three years they are backpacking across US taking odd jobs on the way.

Nick and Chloe’s cattle station is going from strength to strength and now with the kids becoming adults there is no shortage of helping hands. Cassia and Raleigh were married six years ago in the garden of Nick and Chloe’s home. Raleigh bid goodbye to the barrel racing circuit after a pretty serious knee injury seven years ago and around the same time his father got ill making it an easy decision to finally return home and settle down. Cassia and Raleigh now reside at Raleigh’s family farm which they are now fully in charge off, they have welcomed three kids so far, first a son, who was followed by two daughters. Nico is studying agriculture management, while spending all his free time helping around the cattle station. JJ is in his last year of boarding school and plans to return home as soon as he is done there, together with his girlfriend of two years.

Arthur and Serafina never liked uneven numbers so when Serafina found out baby number 6 was on the way nearly eight years ago, they were not upset. In the meantime that said baby is already in school and the older kids are slowly flying out of the nest. Iona and Lou are both finishing their second semester of college. Iona would like to follow in the footsteps of her father and become a journalist, while Lou is on her path to become a lawyer. Outside of college Iona has been dating her boyfriend on and off for two years now and they will become parents in three months time, the baby was not planned, but they’d like to make the best out of the unexpected pregnancy. Lou on the other hand is single and loving it, she has a great group of friends that she spends majority of her free time with, but is not looking for a relationship at the moment.
