[Opinions] Martin
What are your opinions on the name Martin? It's another name that I've always liked. I have met a few people named Martin, and they were all great. Martin Luther King jr. is also an amazing association. Some combinations that I'm loving are Martin Evander and Martin Xavier. The only thing I don't like? The nickname Marty or Mart. It's funny how I don't like to nickname certain names; but ultimately feel like I *have* to nickname my name."You're a firework. Show your obstacles your brightest colors."-MeRate my name lists too!

I like Martin; not enough to use, but on other people and their sons it's fine. I don't think it needs a nn - no Martin I've known ever had one.I don't enjoy Martine or Martina.

I like Martina and Martino, but I don't enjoy -ine in most names. Martin probably beats all of them.

Its a sophisticated and ageless name. Despite its commonness I've never met a martin before, so its not "old" to me. I like the NN Marty, but not Mart. Might be because of Madagascar.Martin Evander and Martin Xavier are great combos. Martin also makes a good middle name. Christopher Martin, Daniel Martin, Richard Martin, Theodore Martin... classic names sound good with other classic names. A martin is also a bird. Another great association. Its a nature name without being a nature name.
