My oldest cousin Maureen and her husband Chris welcomed their first baby into the world last night. It's a little girl!

Fiona was the name of the street my cousin grew up on, and Catherine is an honoring name, for Maureen's mother and our grandmother. Wanna know the weirdest part? I actually predicted they would use this name.

So, what do you guys think of the name?

I like Fiona a lot. Probably not enough to use, but it'd be close.

Catherine is still classically beautiful; because of its decades of popularity, it's safer in the mn position.

Good thing the street wasn't 32nd or Old Furnace or Klickitat.
I have an unreasonable dislike for Fiona. It sounds so moany and melodramatic.
