[Opinions] Re: Linnea

I'm honestly surprised you've met people in real life named Linnea; I expected to find that you were Swedish on your profile, but it says North America. Are you in an area with a high Scandinavian population?
As for the name itself, I think it's beautiful. My preferred pronunciation is li-NAY-ah, but sometimes I'm afraid it'll be read as LIN-ee-ə without the accent (Linnéa). Linnaea, meanwhile, just looks weird to me, even if the pronunciation is no longer ambiguous.

My family has loads of Swedish ancestry, but I'm an American. I've met 6 in the USA, all at separate times. One of them wasn't Scandinavian, and her family was of Irish ancestry.
