I have a preference of Florence myself, Flora still feels a bit dowdy and plain to me personally.

Aw thank you :) which one is your favourite?

Oh I'd say Flora Séraphine perhaps, but I like the whole set here. I have a soft spot for middle name Miracle particularly.

Flora is definitely OK, but I would never use it. I love Laura, and they are too close; I also love Florence, which is a family name several times over. I wouldn't mind seeing Flora on someone else, though I would fear that she might have a sibling named Fauna.

It's good. I like how it's sort of crisp and colorless, flowery, breezy, wholesome. Can totally picture as likeable on a youth.
The reason it's not a favorite of mine is because I slightly associate it with dairy cows. I am not sure why. Is there a cow Flora in pop culture? I don't remember. It maybe just sounds like a good name for a dairy cow... could be pastoral or quaint, a little bit dowdy.Flora Caroline, maybe
Flora Vivien

I think it’s a kind of butter or maybe margarine in the UK? Maybe that’s where your association comes from.

It's one of those names that I really like, but always seem to forget exists. Does that make sense?

Is Flora not good enough, or rather it's good but not the best?
There is always a better and more prominent name?

I suppose...
