Nope. I can really only see that "Darrel" on a guy. I like how it sounds, maybe if it were spelled differently. Deralin, Darrilyn, Deralyn, Derilynn...

It's the spelling that I don't like. Darrel plus lyn ... I dunno.
It is pronounced like that, isn't it? Or is it more like Darlin' with an extra syllable?
It's kinda neat in a strange way, though nms. It sounds nice. It's decent.
Probably she's named after her dad or grandfather and that's why it's like that, so I'd feel snotty criticizing it too harshly.
I'd still rather just see unisex Daryl used - it'd be more to my taste.

Poor kid. Darrell is bad enough, but tacking a random Lyn on to it is just awful. Darrelyn, Carolyn, Marilyn ... no. Just, no.
