[Opinions] Holland
Rebecca Robertson, who starred on "Duck Dynasty" (a show I never watched), gave birth to her second child, a daughter. Her name is Holland Lo Loflin.https://pagesix.com/2021/12/26/duck-dynasty-star-rebecca-robertson-gives-birth-welcomes-baby-no-2/Thoughts?I like Holland, but I hate it with this middle name and last name. She has an older brother named Zane Israel. **After supposedly dying on January 30, 2007 after eating tainted pancakes, she returned several times as an angel and was revealed to be alive on May 17, 2011. )**

Wow! Holland Loflin seems like someone who might be at a yacht party. It's like Blair Bay Baudelaire or something. So repetitive and preppy.Holland itself (as fem) just reads like London or Hollis or Ireland to me, plus I guess I think of Hollister clothes and Hollins U; for a guy, it'd seem like Leland or Roland. Not unpleasant sounding, but I associate indie style materialism, celeb trendy, or wannabe old-money.If they have a 3rd child, I'd guess the name could be Brooks with Jordan or India as a MN.

As someone from the Netherlands it's really weird to see this used as a first name. And it doesn't give of feminine vibes at all to me, except that Holly can be a nickname. Lo makes me think only of the phrase 'Lo and behold', and I can see it only as a colloquial nickname for people with names starting with Lo-.

Holland Lo is especially stupid. It's a place name or a surname first and a masculine first name next, but definitely not a female name.

It's terrible. Country names are terrible in general. There are plenty of nice names without using the name of a country.

I don't like it as a name at all

Holland is a family last name for me and I will always struggle to shake that. Holly could work as a nn though but I really dislike Lo as a middle name.

Holland Lo? As in, the Low Countries? And if her parents are trying to be trendy, they are actually being retro instead, because the Dutch themselves no longer accept Holland as a name for the whole country - they used to, but in fact it is the name of one of the provinces of the Netherlands.I suppose Holly could be a nickname for Holland. That would be a slight improvement.

It's a GP for me. I don't love the surnamey -land part, but it's spiffy and I like the sound.
It has a vibe for me like Mackenzie did circa 1985. Most people not ready for it yet - but they will be.
I like Zane too.
Those middle names could just stay secrets from me, I'd rather not see them.
