Wdyt of Margaretta? I know 1 that goes by Maggie and don’t like it.

I'm indifferent. It does have more personality than Margaret. I'm not crazy about that name either.

It's not very attractive to me at all. I don't like Margaret at all either. I do think that Margarita and especially Marguerite are beautiful.

I know of one Margaretta, who lived in London and was never callled anything else. It seems unnecessary to me: Margaret is an austere classic and needs no help; Margaretta is quite a mouthful for everyday use. I would use Margaret, and try not to use any nns: apart from Peggy, I don't enjoy any of them, and in South Africa the standard nn is Margie, where the g sounds like the g in Margaret, not the g in ginger. I think it's awful, and I don't like Marge either.
