[Opinions] Posh British siblings (Orlando)
I love poring over birth announcements from the Telegraph and finding sibsets that all include a specific name. Here are all the Orlandos I've found. Do you like Orlando? Any favorite combos or sibsets? Notice any interesting patterns or repetitions? Please feel free to request future names to look into.[Sibsets]Finbar Arthur Bulwer

Wow, what a bounty! My favorite sibset is easily Tacita Margot, Wilfred Peter, and Herbert Orlando. I also love seeing Orlando with Algernon (but not with Lani...) and with Ludovic.

Yeah, my only associations are Orlando Bloom and Orlando, Florida. I don't dislike the name, but the associations completely overwhelm it. Other names that stood outShaunagh... ew. Shauna or Shawna are... not terrible, they're fine, you don't have to make them uglier lol.
Magnus - love.
Orlando Jack made me laugh for some reason, makes me think of a cartoon character.
Claudia is nice.
Athene Pia Holly is so mismatched lol. It sort of made me angry for some reason, I really dislike it for some irrational reason. I really, really do not like Pia, and I also dislike Holly almost as much. Athene is ok, but none of these names go together and it sounds silly said aloud.
Robert Duncan is kinda cute in a very clunky Scottish way, even though I don't like Duncan at all.
Abraham is nice.
Tacita Margot... god, some of these names are trying so very hard! I'd say 'who names their kids this?', unfortunately I live in the UK and know *exactly* what kind of person names their kid this. Tacita is awful, Margot is ok but I prefer Margaux. Also Tacita, Wilfred and Herbert...lol. No.
Scarlett India Kate Hilary... why would you give your kid 3 middle names and pick...those?
Allegra is lovely, Celeste makes me think of cysts and spooky boats but is also a name I never see in the wild, so I can't be too mad about it.

Orlando is definitely one their favorites. I can only think of Florida and Orlando Bloom.

I love Orlando. It's Shakespearean and coppery and ever so slightly magical.Combos and other things that stood out to me:
Orlando Jack. This is so disappointing. I'm heartbroken.
It's so strange when some children in a set get more middle names than others.
Benedict Francis is right up my alley. I'd use it in a heartbeat.
Orlando William Otto is so strident. William isn't enough to break up all the Os.
Frederick Percy Atticus is nice.
Edward Orlando John is surprisingly not boring. I like it quite a lot.
Wilfred Peter is very pleasant and truly vintage.
Orlando Alistair Valentine is glorious and unrepentant. I'm in love.
Is Lani Skye from a previous relationship? Because wow does she stand out.
Luke Christopher is so clunky and 70s but Æneas redeems it. We need more names with Æs in them.
I really love Barnaby so much. It's a difficult name to carry but worth it if you ask me.
Freya Ann Beatrice really bothers me. You could have had Freya Beatrice Anne!!
Max and Bella sounds like puppies. They don't match Orlando at all.
Lily Eliza Lucy? Damn that's rough. Lily Eliza or Eliza Lucy would have been lovely, why create this mess of a combo?
Sholto is always fun. Hamish and Sholto would be such a great set.

It is alright and will always remind me of Orlando Bloom: I love Lord of the Rings movies, so I don't consider it as a bad thing. :)I like...Orlando Valentine

Orlando Raphael
Orlando William Percy
Orlando Jonathan - I think Jonathan is also Orlando Bloom's middle name?
Orlando Edward
Orlando Frederick James
Orlando Alexander
Orlando Edmund Alexander
Orlando George

I think of Orlando, Florida before Orlando Bloom tbh

Well, I'm not American, so I don't get association with Orlando, Florida that easily. In fact, after Orlando Bloom, I would probably think of the Virginia Woolf novel or the Tilda Swinton movie next when I saw/heard the name Orlando.

I am American, but the Orlando Bloom/Virginia Woolf/Shakespearean references come way before the city for me too. Then again, I've never been to Florida apart from airport layovers.

Well I mean I have family in Orlando so there's that XDI feel like you're just trying to show off "I think of Shakespeare first because I'm more educated and intellectual than you mere mortal!" Lol

I especially like seeing Orlando paired with:
• Athene
• Magnus, RafeFavorite combos:
• Orlando Arthur Magnus
• Orlando Alistair Valentine
• Orlando Joseph KingsfordI think India and Sholto is a great sibset. It's very 1840s in a good way (reminds me of Elizabeth Gaskell novels). Not sure how I feel about adding Orlando to it though.
