[Opinions] Old Swedish name pronunciation
Hello there. I’m having a hard time pronouncing this Old Swedish name. So the name which I won’t be using by the way, I am simply curious, is Yliæne and I am aware that the æ vowel is no longer in use in Modern Swedish but does anyone have a general idea how it is said? I personally say ee-lee-ANNE because the Y sound is long and I’m sure it’s also a round vowel but that wouldn’t really work in English. Any guesses? Thanks in advance.
