[Opinions] Morgana (m)
in reply to a message by Guest
I've always loved Morgana. It was the version of the name I first encountered in relation to the legendary enchantress (in English she tends to be recorded as Morgan more often, but I read and heard Morgana first), and I love Arthurian legend and basically all things medieval.Cassandra is not a bad name, by any means. It has a long, storied history, including a tragic mythological bearer (a woman who could see the truth, but no one ever listened to). It also has a cute nickname, Cassie. But I grew up around a significant amount of Cassandras / Cassies, my own cousin included, so the name is a little bit played out for me. I also prefer Cassia, to be honest (KAS-ee-uh, not KASH-uh).***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381
