László Sándor Adrenyi, a high-ranking Hungarian diplomat, notorious womanizer, prolific gambler and all-around disliked fellow, has been murdered! His sleeping quarters were found to be demolished, with all signs pointing to a gruesome struggle before he was murdered and thrown from the train. Detective Hazel Florence Lavigne is on the case, and everyone is a suspect! Was it:
The Gangster- Jack Montgomery Killian, a rakish ne'er-do-well who just came out on top of New York City's bloody gang war?
The Secretary- Beatrix Adelia McQueen, Killian's loyal and secretive secretary who may be hiding a ruthless streak of her own?
The Valet- Samuel Morgan Llewelyn, Killian's unfailingly polite and fastidious valet, who despite his seemingly easygoing nature is rumored to be responsible for carrying out Killian's more gruesome jobs?
The Missionary- Alma Florina Romero, an elderly, devout and idealistic woman with little tolerance for her more libertine traveling companions, an insistence that her belongings are being stolen by her fellow passengers, and a desire to save souls by any means necessary?
The Widow- Laila Seraphina Muhammed Gillette-Helmer, a beautiful young widow whose three late husbands all died under mysterious circumstances and left her obscenely wealthy?
The Professor- Dr. Mathilda Vivienne Lynch, the brilliant but underappreciated biology professor with a chip on her shoulder and an extensive knowledge of anatomy?
The Russian Noble- Duchess Sofya Valeriya Nikolskya, a formerly wealthy noblewoman who is on the run from the Bolsheviks and now drifts across Europe relying on other nobles' hospitality and dreaming of her former glory?
The Maid- Eva Johanna Kohn, Duchess Sofya's devoted housemaid, constant companion and possible lover, who would do anything to make her beloved Duchess happy?
The Governess- Diana Frances Eldon, a young woman who claims to be traveling to the home of a wealthy family to be their governess, but is deliberately vague about her past and doesn't have any luggage?
The Gangster- Jack Montgomery Killian, a rakish ne'er-do-well who just came out on top of New York City's bloody gang war?
The Secretary- Beatrix Adelia McQueen, Killian's loyal and secretive secretary who may be hiding a ruthless streak of her own?

Loved this :))
Decided to write a little description for every character too.
The famous detective: Leon Cassius Delaney
He's a Black man from the American South with a voice like molasses. Remarkably well-dressed. In his late 30s. Carries around a fancy cigarette case despite not actually smoking. Has a Langston Hughes moustache.
The gangster: Edward Jack Browne
Definitely not his real name. Racketter. Probably has a gold tooth and really fancy toothpicks. Teeth, in general, should be his leading motif. Oh I know! He used to be a dentist before turning to a life of crime. Rotund. In his mid-to-late 40s. Was rouguishly handsome in his youth, but there's a greasy and unpleasant vibe to him. He smells of raw meat.
The gangsters secretary: Adelia Beatrix McQueen
In her late 20s, looks innocent and very charming, but has been helping Browne in his schemes for a few years now. A polyglot. Highly intelligent. Bottle-blond hair. Well-cut lips. Suspected of having an affair with her boss. Is she hoping to get into his good graces and advance his business, embezzle his funds, or is she actually an undercover policewoman seeking to expose him? Who knows!
The gangsters valet: Jasper Orlando Bellamy
Definitely Browne's partner in crime, who probably pilfers jewellery and cutlery, but he's so good at his job that Browne always lets him off the hook. Was briefly on the stage before going into service, yearns to return to it. He desperately wants to play the Dane, but his talent skews more to comical roles.
The Missionary: Alma Pilar Cortez
Very beautiful, with evocative eyes the colour of smoke. Soft-spoken and modestly dressed, people usually only think "oh! What a shame that such a pretty girl is wasting herself to missionary life", but they're shocked by her religious fundamentalism. Always fiddles with her rosary and might be a supporter of Franco.

Aw, thank you :) who would you make the victim and the murderer?
Hmm, off the top my head the victim would be Mr. Adreniy, they would all presume it’s the gangster at first but then After he’ll get an alibi Ingrid will confess to the crime, but this would end up being a false confession in an attempt to save Natalia who isn’t actually a Russian noble but an assassin sent to murder him by Russia after they found out he was leaning away from communism.
Ooh I like this!
