Noel, as hardly anyone uses accent marks in English. I've known people whose legal names were something such as Renée or Jesús, but always wrote it as Renee or Jesus, respectively.

Renée is my name and I always write it as Renée but most English computer systems kick out accent marks along with hyphens; another feature of my name.
