[Opinions] Pronunciation
Hi!
I recently encountered the name Cillian and I immediately started pronouncing it as Sillian because of the C and the I but my sister told me it was pronounced like Killian, so I looked it up and A LOT of people were saying it was like Killian and I thought I was pronouncing it wrong. Does Cillian have 2 pronunciations or am I just wrong? How do you pronounce it?
Thank you!

Cillian is Irish and goes by completely different pronunciation rules. Like... completely different. Same thing with the word Celtic - it's pronounced Keltic - except the sports team says Seltic but they are using the wrong pronunciation

You're wrong. It's pronounced like Killian.
It’s pronounced like Killian.
Thank you, just making sure:)
Hard C, like “kill”.
Usually the C and the I make the S sound, but that's ok too
