It was the name of a distant relative, pronounced pe-LAG-ya. Peggy and Gia would be unusable in Poland. In English, Peggy could work, but I don't see how Gia would unless it was pronounced pe-la-jee-a. Either way, if I had a goose, that's what I'd name it.
