[Opinions] Midnight
I just saw a couple on IG who named their son Midnight.I'm not sure what I think of it, yet. On one hand I've always liked weird word names but with Midnight it seems more like a MN maybe, because the full name seems like a bit much but there are no good nicknames. Would Mid work? Maybe it'll grow on me but for now I'm a bit sceptical. What do you think?https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/109883

Lame. It's a fairly tired name for a black cat.

Midnight honestly sounds like what a 9-year-old would name their OC... Or their horse. I would've definitely named a horse Midnight at that age.

Accurate

Sounds strange on a human. Better suited for a pet.

Doesn't feel like a person name to me at all

This couple is always on my search page on IG and they annoy me. Like, calm down. Midnight is a decent name for a cat, its terrible for a human.

Definitely a middle-name-only name to me. I would kinda like it as a mn but I don't care for it as a fn

It doesn’t feel like a person name to me at all. It could work as a middle name. Midnight is a great name for a cat, or another pet, not a human.

Mid is a pretty terrible nickname. Midnight in general sounds like what a moody teenager might name her cat, not like a child's name.

Mighnight memorieees, woah-oh-oh-oh...Anyways, not a good name. Mid isnt good for me because it’s a low-key insult where I’m from. Saying something is Mid is like saying it’s not that good. Almost like a the term overrated.

Very odd on a human, it's a bit flirty too.

It’s fine for a horse or other pet, kinda weird on a human.

Don't like it

Fine on a black cat; ludicrous on a human. (That said, I also dislike Dawn, but not Eve.)
