I used to have a neighbor lady named Arizona. She was probably in her sixtis when I knew her, she's gone now. She had no family connection to the state of Arizona, so far as I know. She also had a twin sister whose name was ... Betty.
Everyone called her Miss Arizona, which made her sound like a beauty pageant winner. Which she probably could have been, she was a very pretty lady.So yeah, it could work as a character name, just that it's quite unusual and you'd expect there to be some kind of backstory.Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!
