I'm fonder of Roman and Roland, but I also think Raymond is pretty handsome. I've known lots of Raymonds, who inevitably end up called Ray, which is a bit of a shame. I've known one Roland, who went by "Rolly" (or maybe Rollie? I never saw it spelled).

Roman strikes me as a bit of a soap opera name, but I also find it intelligent and stoic. I've never met one irl.

If I had to pick a fave I think I'd go with Roland, it's so romantic and uncommon. Rolando would be my preferred version, though. I loooove Rolando.
