[Opinions] Re: Shaelyn?
in reply to a message by Lsia.
One of my childhood best friends had a younger sister named Shae'lan (pronounced like "shay-LYNN") and I remember loving the name so much. That apostrophe and the "ae" part just blew my tiny mind. I still really like it. All the kids in the family had very cool mystical-rad 80's Celtic inspired names like that, which was interesting because both the parents came from Scotland and were the most practical no-nonsense people I'd ever met.
Anyway, Shaelyn is ok. Shaylyn and Shaylin don't do much for me. The sound is pretty neat.
