I'd pick Allison, Allie or Aly for the nickname.
It seems like Alice should be a viable nickname sound-wise, but I've never seen anyone use it. Maybe Alison/Alis, Alyson/Alys, etc?

I’d just go with Alison and the nickname Ali, but Alyson “Aly” is okay too.

Allison with 2 Ls, then Alison. I don't like Y's thrown in either.

I prefer Allison or Alison. I don’t like Allyson or worse Allysyn.

Either Allison or Allyson. I ordinarily really dislike Ys for Is casually tossed in but I am rather fond of an Allyson of this spelling that sways my opinion.

Alison is probably my favorite spelling of it. For a nickname, Ali is ok but I think Alis/Alice or Sonny/Sunny would interest me more.

I like Allison better because it can be given to boys - its the surname privilege. ;) Also, it looks more like its nicknames Ally or Allie.

Allison is, technically, a lnfn and not a variation of Alison. So, if you want a daughter named Son of Al, then go for Allison; if you prefer a French diminutive of Alice, then Alison is the way to go. I prefer Alison, and I don't think it needs a nn; Alison people get called Al or Allie. Both inoffensive, neither attractive.
