[Opinions] Re: Top 10 of April 2022 (plus ten-year comparison)
I made quite a few changes over this past month, mainly to my feminine list (which often happens, as my masculine taste has become fairly static):Nicholas Evander
Wesley Owen Rhys
Finn Gabriel
Donovan Leo
Malcolm Elliott
Dominic Edwin
Adam Raphael
Jonathan Bennett
Dorian Ambrose
Ezra Nathaniel
&
Sabrina Lily
Sylvana Lydia
Esme Lavinia
Miranda Violet
Linaria Genevieve
Felicity Charlotte
Aludra Miriam
Morwenna Ivy
Juliana Celeste
Autumn UrsulaEzra replaced Robin, and Linaria, Aludra, Morwenna (old favorite), and Autumn (old favorite) replaced Xenia, Rosalie, Ginevra, and Callista. Honorable mentions go to Zinnia, Anastasia, Ariadne, and Maude, which were on my list in the interim.Linaria is a flower name I've only recently become aware of (the English name is toadflax, which is decidedly less attractive, lol), but I think it's gorgeous - I actually like it more than the similar Linnea. I've gone back and forth between Genevieve and Giselle as a middle name, but I'm still undecided. Aludra is something I came across after a long absence, and I moved it from my GP list to the regular.I also actually participated in the April 2012 post! And... uh... that was clearly the month where I decided to play around with triple-name feminine combos:Adele Maurienne Juliet
Aveline Isabelle Violet
Catherine Ariella Victoria
Charlotte Olivia Florence
Constance Lucretia Melicent
Eleanor Guyenne Herleva
Morwenna Gwynne Amaryllis
Philippa Rose Adelaide
Sabrina Vivian Aurelia
Sophronia Eloise Gabrielle
&
Alistair William
Athos Esteban
Edmund Remiel
Gavin Charles
James Dominic
Lucas Raphael
Merrick Audamar
Richard Adrian
Sebastian Gustave
Wesley OwenThe masculine names are a bit more practical, by a slim margin. Wesley Owen is still here! But I remember coming up with "Eleanor Guyenne Herleva"! Super archaic. Charlotte Olivia Florence was a Top 10 combo for a long time (before I hated Charlotte for a significant period), and I smile to realize Sabrina and Morwenna are both still among my top names (the former having never left).***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381

AludraYay, Aludra made a Top 10 list! (That has been one of my favs forever). I like that it's paired with Miriam, too.
