[Opinions] Re: Ainsley
in reply to a message by Gaia
I actually sort of like it. It sounds warm and friendly. It also almost made the top 100 in Scotland for girls at some point and that gives it more authenticity (as a Scottish given name) to me in a way than as just another trendy surname name (even though it kind of is). It peaked in Scotland in the 90s.The meaning is sad, though. But sort of wondering if it is correct. It says "anne" is "solitary, alone" but couldn't it be from "anne" as in Anne? No idea. Please rate my list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/6232
