Crispin and Emma suffer the death of Eric to sickness. Idony is betrothed to the young Count Laurence Hastings of Pembroke, but Crispin pushes the wedding and they are soon married. Francis and Fluerette still have no heir. Emma and Henry are still seeing each other. Annabel has two more sons, Bartholomew (after his grandfather) and Alexander.
