Henry and Flavienne have nearly retired from public eye, Henry spends most of the time hunting, while Flavienne retired to a monastery. Nicholas and Annora are the new de-facto reigning couple in Northumbria and poses quite high popularity among the merchants but also general public. Their kids are growing up and with the two Princess soon coming off age, it's time for Nicholas to marry his kids well.
Edmundo and Adora certainly don't posses the same popularity in Aragon, but the royal family is so far tolerated especially thanks to the young Crown Prince Josepe and his adorable wife Matilda, who will hopefully soon take over the throne in Aragon. In the past five years Adora has been noticably absent from Aragon and returned only for the wedding of her son to Countess Matilda of Bedford. The couple has been bethroted since Edmundo's 15th birthday and wed after three years. They have recently welcomed twin sons Natanael and Valente. Edmundo largerly lives another life with his mistress Fiamma who bore him three more children Crino, Calixta and Elodia.
Maud and Ruadh got accustomed to their new position as Crown Prince couple, just when things started looking better for the couple, they lost their youngest son Einri to influenza, he has always been sickly but the loss still came as a surprise and weighted heavily over the tight knit family. A year after the loss Maud and Ruadh welcomed another son, Gervase.
