I thought this was masculine for a quick second. Walterine is a decent 5/10. Not good, but not horribly bad either. I don’t even like Walter.
I don't like it, but just on a related note, I recently saw the name Waltonia in a newspaper article from 1909.
I think it's so weird and reminds too much Catherine. I dislike as a feminine form of Walter.
It sounds like wall tureen to me...the tureen by the wall...
I think Waltara, Waldra, Velda, Waltrelle, Waltrina, Waltrinela, or Wallis might look slightly more approachable, but if I was honoring a Walter, I'd maybe just use Walter as the MN even for a girl.
Walterine Shaniya
Walterine Pomona
Walterine Esmeralda
Walterine Amarante
Walterine Zenobia
Walterine Lucretia
Walterine Whitney
Walterine Paloma
Walterine Mabel
Walterine Hadar
Walterine Irma
Walterine Skyla
Walterine Jessica
Walterine Yocheved
Walterine Cleopatra
Walterine Tansy
Walterine Desta
Walterine Peridot
Walterine Quintessa
Walterine Caraleigh
Walterine Cardinal
Walterine Alouette
Walterine Pennylane
Walterine Zoraya
Walterine Rusalka
It could have some oddball charm, I guess. 4/10

walter + Saltine
I love saltines! They're a brand of crackers where I live. I like this name, and now I want Saltines.

doesn't sound feminine at all though.
I've never seen Walterine, and I hope I never see it again. It is clumsy, unattractive and unconvincing. Where did you find it?
I found it on this site lol
fail ...
It's awful. If you have an Uncle Walter to honor, there's a million other nicer ways to do it than naming a poor girl Walterine.
Walterine sounds like some weird mid-20th century material. Like to make durable bathroom fixtures or easy-clean carpet.
