[Opinions] Re: Help me name my character!
Hello :)
Her mothers dead and she doesn't know who her father is, so she grew up under the care of her various aunts and uncles and other family members.
I did mention her personality a lot I kind of want the name to be based off of it at least a bit I think that was my problem with Madeleine (oops I should have added that to the post). Also about personality comment , I think manic is a little extreme lol. Being controlled is horrible and I don't think that's a very unpopular opinion, not thinking before speaking is a very common flaw that happens to everyone at least sometimes and nothing wrong with being free-spirited or spontaneous ㄟ( ▔, ▔ )ㄏ. Don't think any of this destroys her ability to be a sweet person who likes helping? Anyways I think you made very valid points with everything you said and you are completely right, this is my first time doing this type of thing so thank you for the feedback that will help me with future characters and maybe more posts

her mother still named her ...Or had a hand in naming her, so her background and personality do count.
The trouble with basing a name on someone's personality is that quite frankly, none of us have a personality when we are named. It takes some time to develop and of course it changes over time. It's the same problem with choosing an aspect of appearance to name a person after: Scarlett may be born with a headful of bright red hair, but the chances are good to excellent that she'll lose it within a few months and end up a blonde or a mousy brown.Even naming after a positive trait you hope the child will someday have doesn't always work out. My daughter had a good friend named Grace, (I have no idea if she was named specifically after physical grace, or spiritual grace, or after Grandma Grace or just because) and she is this tall, lanky girl who is clumsy as a giraffe whose shoes don't fit.
