[Opinions] Re: Which of these names would you rather have?
in reply to a message by ari.
Diana vs Charlotte - Diana, it's related to my (middle)namesake, Artemis, and is more in-line with my style.
Iris vs Violet - Iris. I love them both, I just prefer this one for myself as it sounds slightly less feminine.
Clara vs Esther - Esther! I like the nickname Esti/Esty, and I think that would fit me well.
Ophelia vs Cassandra - Cassandra. I'd go by Cas or Cassie, mostly, but the full name is also beautiful. It has a darker feel to it that's more in line with my personal style.
Irene vs Florence - Florence. I just prefer this name in general.
Cecilia vs Evelyn - Evelyn. I really love both of these names, but I think Cecilia is too frilly to match me well. Evelyn has a good balance of frilly and practical energy, and Eve and Evie are great nicknames.
Vivian vs Alice - Alice for sure! Reminds me of Alice Cullen, and I already know a Vivian.
Aurora vs Hazel - Hazel! It's kind of similar to my name, a quirky two-syllable word name that can be unisex but rings a little feminine.
Adelaide vs Eleanor - Adelaide. Both these names are gorgeous, but I know a few Eleanor's, Ellie's, and Nora's. Addie is a nice nickname.
Lilith vs Luna - Lilith! Luna always felt campy to me, and Lilith fits well considering i am goth.Alexander vs Ezra - Ezra! I adore this name, and I've seen it used on other trans people of all genders.
Sebastian vs Felix - Sebastian, but I'd go by Bas. I almost did Felix, in honor of my grandfather, but I just don't think it fits me.
Henry vs Thomas - Thomas. Thomas is a little softer to me.
James vs Oliver - James.
Raphael vs Arthur - Arthur. I've never been a fan of the name Raphael.
Daniel vs Isaac - Isaac, both are nice names, I just prefer it and think it would fit me better.
Rowan vs Theodore - Theodore! I love this name and the nicknames Theo and Teddy, and I've seen Rowan used on so many other transpeople that it's started to bore me.
Victor vs Gabriel - Victor! It's gothic and certainly used less than Gabriel
Leo vs Simon - Simon. I just don't think Leo would fit me well, no hate towards the name!
Adrian vs Finn - Adrian for sure. I cannot stand the name Finn for the life of me.
