[Opinions] Interesting name encounters
A collection of a few interesting names I've come across this last year (not surprised to see far more unique girl names than boy names; parent always seem to be more willing to experiment with the former). I think I've posted about a couple of these but I thought I'd just post the whole list now. If I know how it's said I'll note it.GirlAbbygail (pron. abby-gail)

Anahi! One of my favorites ;)I'm endlessly intrigued by Helan, although I think it's more masculine with that pronunciation.Ilima I also prefer on guys.Whitley I'm surprised that I like. It's fun to say.

I’m pretty sure Aelia is supposed to be pronounced IE-lee-ah. Which is actually pretty like Aeliana, but people would usually just use Eliana. Anyways, her pronounciation isn’t bad, but it reminds me of Ariana, a name I personally don’t care for.Abbygail? I don’t even like Abigail but you could’ve just named her Abigail, nicknamed her Abby, Gail, or Abbygail. Welp, I seen worse.Alivia is pointless and not even pretty. Olivia is a very beautiful and stylish name right now however let’s keep in mind it’s literally the #1 most popular name in America right now. Regardless of the spelling you’re still gonna see like 5 other girls turn their head in public. That being said, Alivia is probably the best spelling of all the Olivia spelling variants, it’s not that bad. Besides unfortunately there are little girls with Olyvia, Oliviah.I’ve been eyeing Araceli for a while now. It’s a gorgeous name. I might even use it one day. Alondra is interesting and I do find it pretty. Anaiya is okay but I do prefer the spelling Anaya. Either one is fine. Calica is nice even if it reminds me of Calico. Kaydance? Wow. Oceanna is probably a name that would need to grow on me. Nara is pretty, Nailea is prettier. T’ea is okay I guess. No strong feelings. Tayla, fine I guess but people will confuse with Taylor.

I'd have to pass on those. I do know a Valor (not Valour). I find it odd but kind of cool.
