After years of trying, Hattie and Cesare had a child, and though the pregnancy was quite a happy time for the couple, it ended with heartbreak as Andrew tore his Mother irreparably during his birth.
Both Lucrezia and Nate are engaged, Lucrezia to a young playwright and Nate to an American heiress he met while travelling, but the engagements have been put on hold for the time being.
AN - i'm stretching the definition of murder a bit here, but i feel it fits their story a little better.
