More drama, yes, and not the good kind. Shockingly, Mark turned on his own wife, Lillian, and ran off with the Mistress Germaine Marcelle DeGarmo. Apparently, there are a lot of attractive Mistresses and Paramounts to go around. Lillian is very hurt, but right after he left, Lillian had quadruplets, which is extremely odd, considering that people weren't having that many children at once at the time. She doesn't know why she gave them French names; all that did was remind her of that sick cow, Germaine, who had met Lillian once and seemed to not like the children. Mark tried sending Lillian letters; she just burned them in the fire. He tried talking to her in person; she managed to slip out of all situations. She was truly heartbroken. Meanwhile, Lawrence has been trying to contact Delphine in any way he could. He even tried sending his not-children back to her; she refused. Lucy helps to take care of the triplets, quadruplets, and Adam and Ella's new daughter, Joanna. Adam said that she named her after his mother...well, in a way. The 3 remaining siblings have been through a lot, and they are no closer to discovering the murderer of their parents...
