The Montagu children have been on the case, trying to figure out who killed their parents, AND Mark, AND Lady Delphine and Horace. Lucy's husband, Victor, died to illness(very suspicious)and Lucy vowed to never marry again, for she had 3. Ida(One of Lawrences's not-children)has a daughter with her husband, a girl named Theodosia. Aviva, Ebenezer, and Levy(Lillian's children) got married. That's when Marie, Francesco's new wife, died under strange circumstances, and guess what he does? He comes crawling back to Lucy's doorstep, homeless, tired, and weatherworn. Lucy gives him a pungent look, but lets him in. She does not forgive him, nor approve of what he did, but she nurses him back to help. She asks Francesco to help her with the case, but, looking worried, he declines her offer. Suspicious, Lucy keeps a close eye on him, following his every move. That night, she hears footsteps, and walks out into the corridor. That's when she finds him out of bed with a knife in his hand, advancing towards Adam! "What, now you want to kill all the Montagus?" The children force him to explain, and he does, saying how the Montagu's parents owed him money after helping him with his farm. Unfortunately, they weren't able to pay him back, and he lost his temper. Because of this, they didn't at first permit him to marry Lucy. Wanting their money and their daughter, he forced them(with a knife)to give him what he wanted. But they didn't give him the money, so he killed them. And he kept wanting more, his greed running to his head, making him kill Mark, Marie, Lady Delphine, Horace, Lemuel, and Victor. After trying to kill the Montagu children, they manage to outwit and outrun him, making their way to the police. They seem him locked up, and Lucy is quite shaken, but satisfied. The Montagu lives happily, though not ever after...but for the most part, they aren't plagued by drama anymore. they live happy lives, all the way into the 20th century. And now my reader, you finished this story about the Montagus. Good day.
