What are your thoughts on the name Julius? What would you pair it with? Do you prefer Julian?

I love Julius, I prefer it over Julian. I think it's so handsome but also a little eccentric. Julian is nice too, but it's a little too tame compared to Julius.
Julius Alexander strikes me as a really beautiful name, although I'm not sure if it's too....imperial.
