one of the better modern hebrew names out there. Used by both secular and religious people, good meaning. I have a relative (one of my grandma's cousins) named Ayala, she's named after her own aunt (and my great-grandaunt) who was called Gzala (akin to english Gazzelle)

I don't like it. Too many vowels.

I prefer the more simple, cute, and pretty Aya. Ayala isnt bad but a bit fussy.

I love Ayala. It's hard to think of pairings without knowing what other names you like, though. Maybe something with one or two syllables.
