Reminds me of Joannie Rochette, who got the bronze medal in ladies' figure skating at the 2010 Olympics.

That is so bizarre. For one thing, it's extremely dated and doesn't at all fit with the currently very popular brothers' names. For another, the spelling is weird, that double-n makes me want to say it like Jo-ANN-ee, though I know it's just like Joni or Joanie.

Well, Joanie is very cute, and I do like it, though I rather agree with Rox: it looks a bit curious next to her brothers' slick, popular names. Joannie has more crunchy hipster energy than any of the boys' names.
